Prior to working as a HUD Certified Housing Counselor and assist with foreclosure prevention at NLS, Ms. Mejia assisted tenants at the Tenant’s Rights Center, was a Senior Hotline Intake Specialist, and worked under our centralized intake program providing counsel and advise to clients in Northern Nevada in many areas of law, including family law problems, consumer law issues, and housing related matters. Prior to working at NLS, Lorena was a licensed real estate agent with The Las Vegas Co specializing in short sales and REO properties.

Currently, Ms. Mejia is also enrolled in college seeking a degree in Visual Media with a concentration in Digital Cinema, BA, at Nevada State College.
