Foreclosure Counseling
If you are facing foreclosure, Nevada Legal Services may be able to help. We have housing counselors on staff to assist you in dealing with the bank. You must qualify for our program, so please call or come in today. It is important that you begin working with the bank as soon as possible. If you believe you are at risk of defaulting on your mortgage or have already missed payments, you may have options to save your home and avoid a foreclosure. Foreclosure Mediation Classes Available!
Nevada Legal Services has begun a series of foreclosure counseling classes to instruct homeowners in the Nevada foreclosure process and mediation program. Our Las Vegas classes are held the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 12:00 p.m. in English with a Spanish language class the 3rd Thursday of every month at 2:00 p.m. The Reno classes are held the 4th Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. at our Reno office located at 650 Tahoe Street, Reno, Nevada. In Carson City, the classes are held the 2nd Monday of every month at 2:00 p.m. at 900 N. Roop Street, Carson City, Nevada. Elko classes are held the last Tuesday of every month at 10:00 a.m. at the Elko Public Library.
